Now to answer your question, I ideally wouldn't abolish licensing for the medical sector. But I would loosen Scope of Practice laws. Research shows that states with less restrictive SOP laws have lower healthcare costs, and that loosening does not hamper quality of care. I covered some of it in my healthcare post.
